THE STORY

As Featured in BRIDE’S: We set out to create a wedding that felt less like a production and more like an unforgettable dinner party—thoughtful, joyful, and rooted in guest experience. We brought that vision to life through a deeply personal ceremony in the round that honored both their Catholic and Jewish traditions, heartfelt personal vows, and intentional design choices that reflected their lives together in Washington, D.C. Their venue, Long View Gallery, offered a direct connection to their neighborhood, creating a celebration that felt both distinctive and deeply personal.

True foodies, they prioritized a menu that felt collaborative and expressive, from a family-selected wine pairings to recreating the bride’s beloved late uncle’s corn chowder recipe and crafting a plated dinner that challenged every stereotype about typical “wedding food.” Creative hors d’oeuvres, custom cocktails, and passed desserts kept the energy high and the dance floor full. With a violinist-led cocktail hour, a live band, and a carefully designed guest experience, the evening was a celebration of connection, creativity, and love—from the first toast to the last dance.

IN THEIR WORDS

Vieira Events was the rock of our entire wedding planning process from start to finish. We had a very loose vision for our wedding when we met Vieira Events. By truly getting to know us, Julie & the team helped us build out the details of our wedding weekend. Based on their knowledge of the wedding industry and our personalities, they organized an unbelievable vendor team that took all stress off our shoulders.
