THE STORY

As Featured in BRIDE’S: This black tie wedding at Long View Gallery in Washington, DC, was designed to feel less like a production and more like an unforgettable dinner party—elevated, intimate, and centered on guest experience. The ceremony in the round honored both Catholic and Jewish traditions, blending personal vows with a deeply thoughtful, design-forward setting that reflected the couple’s life together in D.C. The contemporary art gallery backdrop allowed us to craft a celebration that felt both distinctive and timeless.

As true food lovers, the couple placed gourmet dining at the heart of their day. The menu was as meaningful as it was refined, from curated family wine pairings to a plated dinner that redefined expectations of “wedding food.” A personal touch came in the recreation of the bride’s late uncle’s beloved corn chowder recipe—served alongside creative hors d’oeuvres, custom cocktails, and passed desserts that kept the evening flowing seamlessly. With a violinist-led cocktail hour, live band, and a lively dance floor, this Long View Gallery wedding was a masterclass in blending elevated design, culinary artistry, and soulful celebration.

IN THEIR WORDS

“Vieira Events was the rock of our entire wedding planning process from start to finish. By truly getting to know us, Julie & the team helped us build out the details of our wedding. Based on their knowledge of the wedding industry and our personalities, they organized an unbelievable vendor team that took all stress off our shoulders.
