THE STORY
Inspired by one of their favorite natural wine bars in New York City and their travels through South America, this wedding at The REACH at The Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, was a true reflection of the couple’s love of design, food, and soulful experiences. Guests began the evening with an Alice Waters–inspired farm-to-table menu featuring seasonal small bites, artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, and abundant crudité displays. Escort cards doubled as thoughtful favors—jars of fleur de sel and dried rosemary harvested from the couple’s own garden.
The reception design embraced the spirit of The REACH, blending modern architecture with textural, organic elements. Wildflowers, dried grasses, hand-thrown ceramics, and sculptural “tumbleweeds” transformed the space into a layered, immersive environment that felt both intimate and art-driven. As the sun set over the Potomac, dinner gave way to a lively dance floor, with an incredible band fueling a night of joy, movement, and connection. Every detail was crafted to create an experience that was as meaningful as it was unforgettable.
