National Musuem of Women in the Arts

THE STORY

With one groom leaning timeless and tailored and the other craving a moody, gothic, glam vibe, this wedding blended both visions without diluting them. Pairing gold touches, a plethora of candles and more classic settings with rich black velvets and lush tropical foliage helped achieve the look. Priorities included nods to A’s Syrian heritage with a traditional Zaffe entrance and Dabke performance, but in keeping with the mission of their venue... celebrating women in the arts, we used an all female group. Wanting it to feel like their voice, we espoused a dry, direct style for copy and signage throughout inspired by J’s love of the Real Housewives along with snippet from their Hinge dating profiles printed on cocktail napkins as an homage to how they met. Tables were named after all the National Parks they have visited with vintage postcards from each park transformed into escort cards for each guest.  Ending the night with a mochi cart as a nod to J's favorite dessert and traditional Syrian pastries for A.

IN THEIR WORDS

“For design, they nailed our aesthetic perfectly. We came to them with jumbled thoughts and they organized them all into a coherent, beautiful, and event. Choosing Vieira Events as your wedding planner is choosing a guarantee for a fabulous wedding. I could not recommend them enough.”
